Lone Star Gastroenterology, a prominent and respected gastroenterology practice, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join a well-established and growing practice with. Practice manages a freestanding outpatient medical center with clinical and surgical arms, in addition to in-patient rounding.

Responsibilities:
The Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner provides care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions or injuries under the supervision of a GI physician. The Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner works in collaboration with the physician and other healthcare providers to diagnose, treat, and manage gastrointestinal conditions. The Nurse Practitioner also provides patient education and counseling to promote prevention and management of gastrointestinal conditions.

Skills:
- Experience in medical practice, GI related preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Bilingual is a plus

Must be located in South Austin or Nearby

Pay: $125,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
