Nurse Practitioner

ReLeafMD has a need for a Part Time Nurse Practitioner. In this role, you will be review patient history, examine the patient and discuss the use of medical marijuana as a treatment for approved medical conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Review patient medical records and conduct physical examinations to evaluate whether a patient suffers from a condition that is treatable with medical marijuana.
• Inform patients of the risks and benefits associated with medical marijuana usage.
• Determine whether the issuance of a medical marijuana recommendation is need for each patient.
• Perform non-invasive exams to obtain health histories.
• Evaluate patient for verification of a qualifying condition.
• Perform telemedicine evaluations (where permitted by law).
• Evaluate ADD/ADHD patients.
• Evaluate patients wit anxiety disorders seeking traditional treatment programs.
• Evaluate patients seeking weight loss treatment programs.

Requirements:

• Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner and able to practice in Florida. Active licenses from other states is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years experience.
• Previous experience working with patients seeking alternative therapies.
• Strong patient care background.
• Have an open minded approach to alternative therapies.

• Must be able to prescribe controlled substances (active and clear DEA license).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $5,000.00 per month
