Nurse Practitioner

We are looking for a part time Nurse Practitioner to administer injections for patients on a weekly basis.

Basic joint injection skills are necessary.

Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting Expertise in primary care and chronic care practices Knowledge of health and patient care regulations

  • Valid nurse practitioner license

Duties

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history reviews, and physiological evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices across specialties such as internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, emergency medicine, and behavioral health.
  • Administer medications and injections, including IV infusions and dermal fillers, ensuring proper technique and patient safety.
  • Perform advanced procedures such as suturing, spinal taps, catheterizations, and sterile processing techniques with precision.
  • Manage complex cases involving acute pain management, infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, and occupational health issues.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospital settings such as Level I Trauma Centers or ICU units to coordinate patient care effectively.
  • Engage in telehealth consultations to extend access to care for remote or underserved populations while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives or utilization review processes to enhance treatment protocols and improve healthcare quality standards.
  • Provide education on health coaching topics including nutrition, family planning, memory care, and post-acute discharge planning.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, emergency rooms, outpatient clinics, or nursing homes.
