The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will oversee the administration and monitoring of the neural peptide therapy program at the Positional Release Therapy Institute. With oversight by the Institute's Physician Medical Director and President, the NP will provide comprehensive medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with musculoskeletal, neurologic, and functional gut disorders within a medically integrated clinic model.

PRT-i operates as a medically integrated clinic focused on:

  • Neuromusculoskeletal health
  • Recovery optimization
  • Functional movement restoration

The NP works alongside manual therapists, exercise professionals, and medical leadership in a collaborative care environment.

The NP plays a central role in:

  • Clinical assessment oversight
  • Peptide therapy management
  • Patient safety and risk stratification
  • Integration of medical care with manual therapy, positional release therapy, and functional rehabilitation

Peptide therapies are used as adjunctive biologic interventions to support tissue healing, neurologic regulation, and recovery.

Core Clinical Responsibilities

Evaluate patient eligibility for peptide therapies according to clinic guidelines.

Responsibilities include:

  • Determining medical necessity
  • Prescribing peptide therapies when appropriate
  • Monitoring treatment outcomes
  • Adjusting treatment plans based on response
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations

Peptides may include neuromodulatory or tissue-support peptides prescribed through licensed compounding pharmacies.

Patient Safety and Compliance

Ensure adherence to:

  • State licensing regulations
  • Scope of practice requirements
  • Clinic clinical practice guidelines
  • Informed consent protocols
  • Risk stratification procedures

Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.

Integration With Manual Therapy

Collaborate closely with:

  • Positional Release Therapy practitioners
  • Manual therapists
  • Exercise specialists

Coordinate treatment strategies that combine:

  • Medical management
  • Manual therapy
  • Functional rehabilitation
  • Recovery optimization

Outcome Monitoring

Track and evaluate patient outcomes using standardized metrics including:

  • Pain scales
  • Functional movement assessments
  • Neurologic symptom tracking
  • Quality-of-life indicators

Conduct periodic reassessments to determine treatment efficacy.

Telemedicine Care

Provide telehealth consultations when appropriate and legally permitted.

Ensure compliance with:

  • Interstate telehealth licensing regulations
  • State prescribing laws
  • Patient identity verification and documentation requirements

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in case review meetings (As needed)
  • Contribute to quality assurance initiatives (As needed)
  • Assist with development of clinical protocols (As needed)
  • Maintain awareness of emerging research in regenerative and peptide medicine

Pay: $50.00 - $75.00 per hour
