Nurse Practitioner

CarePlus Medical Group is looking for a Nurse Practitioner for our Urgent Care Center.

Responsibilities:
- Provide urgent care services/primary care services to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and conditions
- Prescribe and administer medications in accordance with state regulations
- Perform diagnostic evaluations, including ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and imaging studies
- Provide pain management interventions and treatments
- Administer vaccinations and immunizations
- Perform minor surgical procedures, such as suturing and wound care
- Provide education and counseling to patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in CA
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate specialty area (e.g., Family Practice, Adult-Gerontology, Pediatrics)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and medical assessments
- Experience in acute care settings
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to interpret laboratory results and imaging studies
- Familiarity with pain management strategies and interventions
- Ability to provide catheter care and perform minor surgical procedures
- Knowledge of infection control practices and protocols
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively educate patients on healthcare topics

Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour
