Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to determine health status and needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and current clinical guidelines.
  • Administer medications and injections, including and botulinum toxin treatments, following strict safety protocols.
  • Perform specialized procedures such as skin biopsies, suturing, and dermal filler injections with precision and aseptic technique.
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions across multiple specialties including emergency medicine, behavioral health, and internal medicine.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient encounters and medical records.
  • Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to care while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high standards of confidentiality.
  • Assist in discharge planning, case management, and coordination of post-acute care services for diverse patient populations.
  • Engage in ongoing education related to ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, infection control protocols, and other regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification in your practicing state or region.
  • Demonstrated experience with EMR/EHR systems such as eClincalWorks; telehealth experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to perform complex procedures including suturing and sterile processing techniques.
  • Critical care experience preferred; backgrounds in emergency medicine, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), or trauma centers highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology (including psychopharmacology), and diagnostic evaluation methods.
  • Experience working with diverse populations such as elderly patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, or individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Familiarity with medical documentation standards including ICD coding, CPT coding, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills for patient education on health coaching topics like nutrition or medication management.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
