Midwest Medcon is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations for U.S. Veterans.

This is a unique opportunity to use your clinical expertise in a meaningful way while maintaining complete control over your schedule. There is no treatment, prescribing, call coverage, medication management, or patient follow-up required.

What You'll Do

As a contracted Nurse Practitioner, you will:

• Conduct disability evaluation exams for Veterans
• Obtain detailed medical histories
• Perform focused physical examinations
• Review medical records and diagnostic studies
• Complete objective medical documentation and reports
• Provide evidence-based medical opinions when requested

Qualifications

Required

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Missouri
• National NP certification
• Excellent history-taking and physical assessment skills
• Strong written documentation abilities
• Ability to review extensive medical records and maintain attention to detail

Preferred

• Experience in primary care, family medicine, urgent care, occupational medicine, orthopedics, disability evaluations, or working with Veteran populations
