Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team, delivering high-quality patient care across diverse clinical settings. In this role, you will serve as a vital member of the medical team, providing comprehensive assessments, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans. Duties

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and identify medical issues.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications, including in IV infusions and weight loss injections, following proper protocols and safety procedures.
• Manage acute pain cases unrelated to automobile or worker’s comp claims. Manage patients according to triage and coordinate care for patients in and outpatient and telehealth settings.
• Document clinical encounters accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such eClinicalWorks while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Engage in evidence-based practice initiatives to enhance patient care standards.

Skills

• Extensive experience with EMR/EHR systems like eClinical Works or Athenahealth for efficient documentation.
• Proficiency in specialized procedures including laceration repairs, incision & drainage of abscesses, toenail removals, splinting of orthopedic injuries.
• Strong background in urgent care, occupational medicine, and family medicine.
• Knowledge of medical coding systems including CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-10 for accurate billing and documentation.
• Skilled in managing diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals who may have developmental disabilities.
• Ability to interpret diagnostics using laboratory testing or medical imaging techniques; familiarity with infection control practices is essential.
• Excellent communication skills for patient education on topics like nutrition education, medication administration, and health coaching. Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
