Job Description: The Nurse Practitioner provides health care services to patients under the supervision of a qualified physician. Reports to the supervising physician or his/her designee as needed. Provides competent services to patients within his/her scope of practice (Pediatric, Family, Geriatric, etc.). Services will include, but are not limited to ordering, conducting, interpreting diagnostic test; prescription of pharmacological agents and treatments; non-pharmacological therapies and treatment modalities; and order/initiating appropriate referrals as indicated by clinical findings.

Position Requirements:

• Current Texas Nurses License
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and current certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas
• A minimum of two (2) years NP experience
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to read and communicate effectively
