Title:Nurse Practitioner

North Augusta Office Hours:

Wednesdays 9am-5pm

Tuesdays & Thursdays 9am-7pm

Fridays & rotating Saturdays 9am-1pm

Job Summary

• Assesses, diagnoses and treats obesity and related issues, independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• General Accountabilities
• Analyzes and interprets patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
• Recommends diagnostic or therapeutic interventions.
• Prescribes medications.
• Educates patients about balanced nutrition and exercise.
• Orders, performs, or interprets the results of diagnostic tests.
• Maintains complete and detailed records of patients' health care plans.
• Detects and responds to adverse drug reactions.
• Maintains current knowledge of state legal regulations for nurse practitioner practice.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Master's degree
• Experience: 1-5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Licenses/Certifications: FNP Certification, Prescriptive Authority, & DEA License
