Position Summary:

As a Nurse Practitioner at Oasis Integrated Medical Center, you will be expected to bring about the retention of long-term quality patients for the company through the execution of service delivery systems so the patients’ needs and expectations are met or exceeded. You will be needed to assess, advise and treat patients in accordance with our services offered in the clinic. As the clinic Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for looking at the body as a whole and assisting in the creation of treatment plans for our patients to receive the most comprehensive care. You will be an essential piece of the integrated clinic and will work in tandem to collaborate with professionals to result in the most effective treatment plans and clinical outcomes. This position requires someone who will be compassionate, caring, optimistic, self-motivated and gets excited about a challenge. You must be a team player who has a genuine interest in helping others, along with an interest in changing the conversation with patients, the public and other providers about how we provide healthcare in the U.S.

Performance Objectives:

  • Evaluate new patients to determine if and which services they could benefit from
  • Monitor patients for improvements and set-backs so as to modify services to help clients meet or exceed expectations
  • Monitor patients for compliance and effectively communicate the need to follow recommendations
  • Effectively and continually educate patients about the need for, and progress through, the care plan
  • Complete and document medical exam and orthopedic medical exam
  • Supervise and administer injections (trigger point, joint, etc.)
  • Recognize and acknowledge when patients improve and reach goals
  • Assist in the recruitment of new patients through internal and external lead generating activities
  • Engage in effective communication with clinical as well as administrative staff to ensure seamless flow of production to allow for increased growth of company’s services delivered to meet the strategic objective of the company
  • Oversee management of Medical Assistants
  • Properly complete paperwork on each patient encounter and keep notes current by the end of each shift to company standards
  • Ensure all patient care is focused on an upstream medical philosophy, (prevention and function based) instead of a downstream one (symptom based)
  • Will follow all protocols written including; no prescribing class II narcotics and no prescribing antidepressants to our patients. No prescribing or administering vaccines. Refer these patients to their primary care physician for said services if needed.

Education & Experience:

  • Valid, current license in Texas
  • Fully eligible for malpractice insurance in Texas
  • Experience injecting joints preferred but not required. We will

provide and pay for complete training.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that should be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to sit, talk, stand, move, see, hear, and use hands, arms and legs. The employee is frequently required to stand; move about, climb steps or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Monthly travel to Tennessee and Clearwater Florida for meetings and trainings will be required for the first few months and then periodically as needed.

No vaccines or masks are required of staff or patients.

We need two part time Nurse Practitioners to share the hours.

Hours:

*Hours are split between two NP’s

*Hours are:

Monday thru Thursday

8am to 1pm & 2pm to 6:30 pm

We are a Christian clinic and we do pray with our patients and read the Bible with them.

Salary:

*Based on entry level or experienced NP. Very competitive salary.
