Nurse Practitioner Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate is bilingual with Korean and English, they possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate proficiency in various medical practices, including but not limited to acute care, pediatrics, and geriatrics. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care, conducting assessments, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to diagnose and treat various health conditions.
- Administer medications and perform procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, and catheterization.
- Provide acute pain management and support for patients in critical care settings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for accurate documentation of patient information.
- Engage in telehealth consultations to expand access to care for patients.
- Educate patients on health management, including nutrition, medication administration, and chronic disease management.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance treatment protocols and patient care practices.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient records.
Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license with relevant certifications.
- Experience in critical care, emergency medicine, or hospital settings is preferred.
- Proficiency in EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks.
- Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-9, ICD-10 coding systems, and medical terminology.
- Strong background in geriatrics, pediatrics, or family planning is advantageous.
- Experience with procedures such as dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatment, esthetic laser treatment, and spinal taps is a plus.
- Knowledge of infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, and behavioral health is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations including those with developmental disabilities or memory care needs.
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and utilize medical imaging techniques when necessary. Pay: $112,954.66 - $136,031.41 per year
