Ready to work in an active environment caring for patients with kidney problems in the setting of dialysis units as well as hospitals and CKD clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and medical histories
- Diagnose and manage kidney-related conditions such as:
- Chronic kidney disease (CKD)
- Acute kidney injury (AKI)
- End-stage renal disease (ESRD)
- Hypertension
- Electrolyte and fluid imbalances
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests including:
- Renal panels
- Urinalysis
- Imaging studies
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and therapies according to state regulations
- Monitor dialysis patients and adjust care plans as needed
- Provide pre- and post-kidney transplant care
- Educate patients and families on disease management, diet, medications, and lifestyle modifications
- Collaborate with nephrologists and nurses
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Participate in quality improvement and compliance initiatives

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
