An outpatient clinic in San Bernardino, Yuba City, and Redding, California is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to perform one-time, non-treatment disability assessments for U.S. Veterans . This full-time role offers a structured weekday schedule with no prescribing, no follow-ups, and no on-call responsibilities , making it ideal for providers seeking consistency and work-life balance.

Position Highlights

• Location: San Bernardino, Yuba City, and Redding, California
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Setting: In-person outpatient exam clinic
• Patient Volume: 3–5 patients per day
• Compensation: $120,000 – $130,000 annual salary
• No treatment, prescribing, or follow-up care required

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person disability assessments for Veterans
• Review and analyze electronic medical records
• Complete structured VA documentation and exam reports
• Provide medical opinions based on assessment findings
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of evaluations

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted NP license (California)
• Open to multiple NP specialties (FNP, AGNP, AGACNP, etc.)
• Strong comfort with technology and electronic documentation
• Excellent time management and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a structured environment
