Nurse Practitioner (NP) Job in Iowa with 24 Hour Shifts

StatUS Health Partners, a physician owned and operated group based in Iowa, is looking for a part time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join its team in a critical access hospital near Des Moines, Iowa. This is a permanent, part time independent contractor position for one shift a week.

Position Highlights:

• Low Volume, Critical Access Hospital seeing 2500 ED patients annually
• Hybrid ED/Inpatient model
• Average daily census 1-3
• One 24 hour shift weekly, 7am Sat-7am Sun
• Candidates that can dedicate at least two weekend shifts a month are encouraged to apply

Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Iowa.
• Candidate must have at least one year of experience working as an NP in emergency medicine or inpatient medicine.
• Excellent communication skills for working with diverse populations including children, seniors requiring memory or dementia care, individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges.
