Nashville Neurosurgery Associates, PLLC is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in independent clinic settings serving the Bowling Green, Kentucky region. This role offers a balance of clinical autonomy and team collaboration, with a focus on delivering accessible care across multiple clinic sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in outpatient clinic settings 4 days per week
- Travel to satellite clinic locations within a 35-mile radius of Bowling Green, KY
- See a minimum of 15 patients per clinic day
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Complete all clinical notes within 48 hours of patient encounters
Administrative & Support Duties (1 Non-Clinic Day/Week)
- Ensure completion and accuracy of all outstanding clinical documentation
- Provide clinical support to administrative staff, including:
- Responding to patient phone inquiries
- Managing prescription refills
- Assisting with prior authorizations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient care delivery
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (TN and/or KY as required)
- National board certification (e.g., AANP, ANCC, NCCPA)
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a consistent patient volume
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Willingness to travel between clinic locations as needed
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery in outpatient clinical settings
- Familiarity with EMR systems, eClinicalWorks experience is a plus
- Experience managing diverse patient populations
Work Schedule
- 4 clinic days per week
- 1 administrative/support day per week (non-clinic)
- No weekends or major holidays (unless otherwise specified)
