Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) - Austin, TX

Interventional pain management practice in Austin, Dripping Springs, Kyle and San Marcos, TX seeks a certified, talented, patient-oriented Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP). Responsibilities:

• Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as MRIs, X-rays, interventional pain procedures, and urinalysis; interprets test results.
• Instruct and counsel patients; promote wellness and health maintenance.
• Provide continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans.
• Comply with protocols, procedures, rules and regulations.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by keeping up with CME requirements.
• Identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues that must be addressed; providing information pertinent to deliberations; implementing physician directives.
• Maintain a positive attitude, be compassionate and have great communication and problem solving skills.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. No weekends or national holiday clinic.

Required license or certification:

• Graduation from an accredited school in Physician Assistant studies or Nurse Practitioner program
• PA/NP Certification and Licensure in good standing from the State of Texas
• CPR/BLS certification
• DEA license if already practicing

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
