Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Urgent Care / Primary Care

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family practice and be comfortable evaluating and treating a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages presenting with urgent, acute, and primary care concerns
• Perform minor procedures including suturing, incision and drainage, splinting, wound care, and related treatments
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including labs and imaging when appropriate
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans using evidence-based clinical guidelines
• Collaborate with supervising physicians, providers, and clinical staff to support quality patient care
• Accurately and thoroughly document patient encounters in the EMR
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, prevention, and follow-up care
• Maintain professionalism, efficiency, and strong communication in a fast-paced clinic setting

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Michigan
• Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner — FNP
• Current DEA license or eligibility to obtain
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, family practice, or primary care preferred
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient communication skills
• Comfortable managing multiple patients and priorities in a busy clinical environment
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
