Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant role based in St. Louis, MO. The provider will be responsible for diagnosing and treating workplace injuries, overseeing employee wellness programs, and conducting pre-employment and regulatory medical examinations such as DOT physicals. Daily tasks include assessing and managing workplace-related injuries and illnesses, developing care plans, performing diagnostic procedures such as EKGs and pulmonary testing, and providing preventive care to support employee health and compliance with workplace standards.

Qualifications

  • Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or PA in Missouri, who is comfortable with occupational medicine, adult injury care, or a related field
  • Skills in diagnosing and treating workplace-related conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, respiratory concerns, and general illnesses
  • Experience conducting pre-employment medical evaluations, DOT physical exams, and drug and alcohol testing
  • Proficiency in performing and ordering diagnostic tests such as EKGs, pulmonary function tests, x-rays, MRI/CT, and lab work
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building trust with both employers and employees
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented health care environment
  • CPR and AED certification preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
