Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – Rheumatology

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic Rheumatology team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and interested in managing a wide variety of autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, and other inflammatory disorders. You will work closely with our rheumatologists and care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic interpretation
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician
- Prescribe medications and order labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests as appropriate
- Perform or assist with in-office procedures such as joint injections and aspirations
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, medications, and self-management
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Coordinate care with referring providers, specialists, and other healthcare team members
- Participate in quality improvement, continuing education, and compliance initiatives
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of California
- National certification (e.g., AANP, ANCC for NPs; NCCPA for PAs)
- DEA license and prescriptive authority in accordance with state regulations
- Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited NP or PA program
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Experience in Rheumatology, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty is preferred, but motivated new graduates with a strong interest in Rheumatology are encouraged to apply

Work Schedule & Compensation:
- Monday–Friday schedule, no nights or weekends required
