Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical histories to determine diagnosis and treatment needs.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions across various neurological conditions, including migraine, epilepsy, neuropathy, dementia, dysautonomia, Parkinson's, and Myasthenia Gravis.
• Administer medications and injections, including botulinum toxin treatments, following established protocols and safety standards.
• Utilize EMR system, eClinicalWorks, and Freed AI to document patient encounters accurately while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Discuss lab and imaging results with the patients. Review labs and send comments via the portal.
• Answer portal and phone messages sent in by patients.

Experience

• Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience.
• Strong background working with EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks, Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for medical documentation and patient records management.
• Attention to detail, meticulous organizational and communication skills are necessary.
• Knowledge of CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), ICD-9/10 coding standards for accurate billing and documentation is advantageous.
• Experience providing care for diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, or individuals with disabilities.
• Familiarity with medical imaging techniques like MRI or laboratory experience supporting diagnostic evaluation is a plus.
• Knowledge about vitamin supplementation and long Covid is encouraged.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
