Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Kiowa District Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team in beautiful south-central Kansas.

What You'll Do

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic health conditions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Care for patients in both the Rural Health Clinic and Emergency Department, offering the opportunity to practice a broad scope of medicine and make a meaningful impact across multiple care settings.
  • Participate in a shared provider call rotation, helping ensure patients have access to care when they need it most.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
  • Support KDH's mission of providing Quality C.A.R.E. Close to Home.

What We're Looking For

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant eligible to practice in Kansas
  • Current Board Certification
  • DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
  • Current BLS certification (ACLS and PALS preferred)
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
