Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient Locum (Flexible 5-Day Workweek – $105/hr)

A growing outpatient clinic network spanning Kansas City, Kansas and Missouri is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) for ongoing locum tenens coverage across urgent care and occupational medicine settings. This Monday–Friday, no-weekends role treats patients ages 2 and up in a fast-paced walk-in environment focused on work-related injuries and urgent care — with competitive hourly pay and malpractice coverage included.

Ideal for an FNP comfortable working independently across multiple clinic locations with strong documentation habits and experience in occupational or urgent care medicine.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat work-related injuries and urgent care patients (ages 2+)
• Perform physical examinations and in-office procedures
• Evaluate and treat walk-in patients at a minimum pace of 3 patients/hour
• Communicate medical guidance to employers regarding work-related cases
• Provide coverage across clinic locations in both Kansas and Missouri
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted FNP license in both Missouri and Kansas
• Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
• 1–3 years of urgent care or occupational medicine NP experience
• Strong independent clinical skills in outpatient/walk-in settings
• Comfortable managing high patient volume (3+ patients/hour)

Schedule & Compensation

• $100–$105/hour
• Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Five 8-hour shifts
• No nights, no weekends
• Ongoing locum coverage | Start upon credentialing
• Malpractice insurance covered
