Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive clinical background, demonstrating expertise in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment across diverse medical settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to innovative healthcare delivery. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for managing a broad scope of medical services, including acute care, chronic disease management, and preventive health strategies, while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Duties

  • This part- time position is an advanced NP training program for certified NPs in the infertility field. The candidate will be trained in female pelvic ultrasound scan (300 scans supervised) and procedures like hysteroscopy, ultrasound guided ovarian cyst drainage etc. After training, a Collaborative Practice agreement will be in force.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to inform diagnostic and treatment plans.
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, IV infusion, catheterization, and sterile processing in accordance with clinical protocols.
  • Manage acute pain and chronic conditions utilizing evidence-based approaches, including medication administration and pain management techniques.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation and medical records management.
  • Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to care while maintaining high standards of patient engagement and safety.
  • Collaborate with physician to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Assist in clinical research initiatives and participate in quality improvement projects aligned with GCP standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in any Biological Sciences in Nursing (BSN), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and passed national NP examination. Valid Nurse Practitioner license with current certification in relevant specialties.
  • Proven work experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for efficient documentation and patient tracking.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology principles, CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding practices for accurate billing and documentation.
  • Experience performing procedures such as suturing, phlebotomy, venipuncture, and airway management techniques.
  • Familiarity with female ultrasound preferred .
  • Excellent communication skills.
