Position: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Location: New York City, NY 10003

Duration: 06/01/26 to 08/28/26 (90-day contract with extension possibility)

Pay: 90 - 95/hr.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8 AM to 04:30 PM

• 40 hours weekly | No weekends or on-call!

Overview: Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support a workplace-based primary care clinic. This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

• Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of the physician.

• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to assess patients’ clinical problems and health care needs.

• Records physical findings and formulates a plan and prognosis, based on the patient’s condition.

• Provides written home-going instructions.

• Collaborates with the physician and other health professionals and prepares patient care plans as necessary.

• Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures.

• Refers patients to the physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of clinical experience as an NP/PA in primary care, ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, emergency department, or a similar setting is required.

• Must have experience in Women's Health.

• Active FNP / Adult Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in New York

• BLS certification or ability to renew post-offer

• ACLS certification preferred

• DEA preferred

• Experience using EPIC EMR preferred
