Humanizing Medicine is an integrative oncology clinic in Decatur, Georgia, offering patients facing cancer more options and more hope. We use mistletoe therapy (Viscum album), intravenous vitamin C, nutritional infusions, botanicals, and repurposed medications alongside a direct primary care model that prioritizes time and relationship with each patient.

Our lead physician, Dr. Mark Hancock, has coauthored a book on mistletoe therapy and is lead faculty in national certification courses for providers. You'd be joining a small, close-knit team with warm patients and a genuinely collaborative culture.

This position begins part-time with a clear pathway to full-time as your patient panel grows. Flexible for the right candidate.

What You'll Do

• Carry your own panel of integrative oncology and primary care patients, with ample time for quality visits
• Evaluate patients, develop integrative treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician, and place clear orders in the chart
• Conduct patient interviews, physical examinations, and interpret diagnostic data
• Develop expertise in the hallmarks of cancer and how to address them with repurposed medications, supplements, IV botanicals, and nutritional infusions
• Provide patient education on treatment options, nutrition, and lifestyle
• Be available to your patient panel by phone, text, and email (this is rarely a large time commitment)
• Participate in Sociocratic meetings — our collaborative, consent-based approach to running the clinic where every team member has a voice
• Document care in our EMR (Atlas MD)

What We're Looking For

• Active Georgia NP or PA license (or willingness to obtain)
• Genuine interest in integrative and holistic approaches to oncology
• Willingness to train in and eventually certify in Anthroposophic medicine — we fully support this education (learn more at https://anthroposophicmedicine.org/)
• Comfort with a relationship-based practice model where you know your patients well
• Warm, empathetic communication style — our patients are navigating serious diagnoses and deserve providers who show up as full human beings
• Prior oncology or integrative medicine experience is a plus but not required — we will train the right person

Compensation & Benefits

• $55.53/hour base pay
• $5/month per patient on your panel (expected panel of 100–150 patients, adding $500–$750/month)
