Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Interventional Pain Management Clinic

Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – Interventional Pain Management (Clinic-Based)

Los Angeles, CA

This role is ideal for clinicians seeking a high-quality outpatient position with strong physician mentorship, excellent work-life balance, and long-term growth in a modern pain practice.

We are seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a growing interventional pain management practice. This is a unique opportunity to work in a modern, procedure-focused environment — without the burden of heavy opioid management or hospital call.

Why This Role is Different

  • Lifestyle-focused: No call, no weekends, predictable clinic hours
  • Growth-oriented: Direct mentorship with clear path to autonomy
  • Specialty exposure: Learn interventional pain workflows and patient selection
  • Flexible start: Part-time, full time, or hybrid options with pathway to full-time

Position Overview

  • Evaluate and manage new and follow-up patients in an outpatient setting
  • Develop treatment plans aligned with interventional pain strategies
  • Coordinate care and prepare patients for procedures (e.g., epidurals, RFAs, advanced therapies)
  • Perform detailed documentation using the simple Practice Fusion EMR
  • Collaborate with the physician for same-day supervision and case discussion

This is a clinic-based role only (no procedures required).

Training & Autonomy

  • Initial period of direct physician oversight and mentorship
  • Transition to independent patient management with physician support available

Schedule

  • Flexible start (part-time, full time, or hybrid options available)
  • Opportunity to grow into a full-time, multi-location role
  • No evenings, no weekends, no call

Compensation

  • Competitive hourly compensation: $85–$90/hour, based on experience
  • Opportunity for performance-based bonus as role expands

Qualifications

  • Licensed NP or PA in California
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Interest in musculoskeletal and spine-related conditions
  • Pain management experience preferred, but not required (training provided)
  • Spanish-speaking strongly preferred

Ideal Candidate

  • Efficient, detail-oriented, and patient-focused
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced outpatient setting
  • Interested in long-term growth within a specialty practice
  • Motivated to learn interventional pain pathways (mostly not opioid-centric care)
