Nurse Practitioner--Veteran Disability Exams

Summary

The general medical provider will perform one-time compensation and pre-discharge examinations for our country’s veterans and/or service members. Exams are conducted to determine the existence and/or status of a condition for rating purposes.

Pay:

1-2 DBQs - $140

3-5 DBQs - $180

6-9 DBQs - $220

10-13 DBQs - $288

14 + DBQs - $329

Medical Opinion (EACH) - $60

NO SHOW:

Complete No Show - $40

Partial - $20

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough and focused medical evaluations.
  • Analyze medical records, diagnostic test results, and other pertinent documentation.
  • Develop medical opinions based on the medical examination findings, diagnostic results, and medical record review.
  • Accurately record examination findings in concise reports that follow established VA guidelines and formats.
  • Completion of required online-based training.

Requirements

· A valid and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license, with a Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited institution.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $100.00 - $400.00 per hour
