Nurse Practitioner- Women's health focused

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and highly skilled Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our private practice team on a part-time contract basis. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care to women navigating perimenopause, menopause, and related midlife health transitions, filling a significant need for specialized hormonal health support that our current patients frequently request. This role focuses primarily on hormonal health, including the management of hormone replacement therapy and treating conditions like PMDD.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited NP Program (Required)
  • Active national board certification- FNP, WHNP, AGNP, or similar (Required)
  • Prescriptive authority as a Nurse Practitioner (Required)
  • Practice: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Individual malpractice insurance (Required)
  • Collaborative agreement with a supervising physician (Preferred)
  • Menopause Society Certified (Preferred)
  • Job Type: Contract, part-time
  • Pay: $70-90 per hour
  • Setting: Office based primarily, Private Practice

Job Description

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with hormonal imbalances, including perimenopause, menopause, and related conditions
  • Provide comprehensive hormone replacement therapy (HRT), including patient education, risk assessment, and ongoing monitoring
  • Assess and treat patients with PMDD using evidence-based approaches, including pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions
  • Collaborate with internal providers and coordinate care with patients’ existing healthcare teams when appropriate
  • Develop personalized treatment plans with a strong emphasis on patient education and shared decision-making
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
  • Stay current with emerging research and best practices in women’s health, hormone therapy, and mood disorders

Initially, the provider is needed in office 1-2 days per week, with the opportunity to grow the role into more time. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider to take on a small volume of additional work around a current job.

Pay: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour
