Nurse Practitioner (Women’s Health, Labor & Delivery, or PMHNP)

Position Type: Telemedicine / Remote

Compensation: $78+ per completed visit

Payment Model: Private Pay + Insurance Reimbursement

Role Overview:

BLŪM is seeking compassionate and mission-driven Nurse Practitioners with experience in women’s health, labor and delivery, or psychiatric mental health to provide virtual care to mothers across Texas.

This role will focus on supporting maternal physical and mental health through telemedicine consultations, screenings, care coordination, and treatment planning.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct telehealth visits with prenatal and postpartum mothers

• Screen for postpartum depression, anxiety, and other maternal mental health conditions

• Provide women’s health consultations and treatment plans

• Prescribe medications when clinically appropriate

• Collaborate with BLŪM therapists, dietitians, and lactation consultants for integrated care

• Maintain clinical documentation using SimplePractice

• Provide referrals when higher levels of care are needed

• Support BLŪM’s maternal health education initiatives

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Nurse Practitioner license

• Board certification in Women’s Health, Family Medicine, or Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP)

• DEA license (preferred for prescribing clinicians)

• Experience in maternal health, postpartum care, or women’s health

• Comfortable providing telemedicine care

• Passion for improving maternal health outcomes

BLŪM is a maternal health nonprofit dedicated to improving postpartum recovery, maternal mental health, and family wellness through innovative, accessible care. Our programs combine clinical care, nutrition, therapy, and wellness services to support mothers during pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and early motherhood.

BLŪM is launching a first-of-its-kind telemedicine maternal wellness program serving Texas, beginning with mothers in Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio.

Our integrated care model provides:

• Maternal mental health therapy

• Women’s health nurse practitioner services

• Nutrition counseling

• Lactation support

• Pelvic floor rehabilitation guidance

• Midwife-led education and workshops

BLŪM operates a hybrid care model combining private pay services with insurance reimbursement as we complete credentialing with major insurers.

All clinical team members will utilize SimplePractice for scheduling, charting, documentation, and telehealth visits.

BLŪM clinicians are paid per completed visit/session rather than hourly, allowing flexibility and the ability to scale patient volume over time.
