Sunlight Medical Services, an established, MOUD/Alcohol Use Disorder practice in the Glendale, Arizona area is seeking a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to assist patients recovering from addictions to opioids, alcohol, and other substances. This position is structured as a part-time hourly (potential full time in the future)
Schedule
Monday through Friday (any two days of the week): 5 AM - 1 PM
Saturday: 7AM - 11 AM
Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive health histories, physical examinations, and mental health screenings to determine appropriate treatment
- Medication Management: Initiate and adjust medication regimens, oversee the induction and maintenance accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Monitoring & Follow-up: Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., lab work, toxicology screenings) and evaluate patient responses to the treatment plan.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Medical Director, Clinic Supervisors, nurses, and behavioral health counselors to provide holistic, interdisciplinary care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and ensure clinical compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in state of Arizona
- Unrestricted DEA license
- CPR Certification Required
Clinical experience in addiction medicine, psychiatry, or substance use disorder (SUD) treatment preferred.
Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
