Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Job Overview
Premier Cancer Care and Infusion Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care. Seeking an individual who is committed to providing high-quality healthcare services to patients. Oncology experiences is a definite plus however we are willing to teach the right provider.

Duties

• Provides direct patient care in the clinic setting including: assessment, screening, diagnosis, and treatment of patients
• Reviews laboratory, x-ray findings and diagnosis other tests
• Appropriately and in a timely manner documents all relevant information in Electronic Health Records
• Coordinates and refers services of community resources, placement providers, collateral agencies, or other community partners with families, clients, or patients receiving services.
• Provides patient education, counseling, medication advice and follow up instructions
• Participates in patient and in-service training for support personnel.
• Provides exemplary customer service to patients, visitors, and co-workers.\
• Utilize knowledge of physiology to evaluate patient conditions and provide appropriate interventions.

Experience

• A valid Nurse Practitioner license is required.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred,
• Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and medication administration is essential.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and understanding of ICD-10 coding will be advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team are necessary for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $144,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
