<Job Overview>
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive patient care across diverse clinical settings. <Responsibilities>
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments (medical, psychiatric, and substance use history)
- Diagnose and manage substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions
- Prescribe and manage MAT medications, including Buprenorphine, Naltrexone, and Methadone (as applicable)
- Manage withdrawal symptoms and provide detox support when needed
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Collaborate with counselors, therapists, and case management staff
- Provide patient education on relapse prevention, harm reduction, and overall health
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
<Skills>
- Strong knowledge of addiction medicine and substance use disorders
- Proficiency in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) protocols
- Ability to assess and manage acute withdrawal symptoms
- Excellent clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
- Strong interpersonal and nonjudgmental communication style
- Ability to build rapport with high-risk and vulnerable populations
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills

Pay: $65,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
