Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive patient care across diverse clinical settings. You will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, and providing patient education—all while working within a supportive and innovative environment committed to excellence in healthcare delivery.

<Responsibilities>

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments (medical, psychiatric, and substance use history)
  • Diagnose and manage substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions
  • Prescribe and manage MAT medications, including Buprenorphine, Naltrexone, and Methadone (as applicable)
  • Manage withdrawal symptoms and provide detox support when needed
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Collaborate with counselors, therapists, and case management staff
  • Provide patient education on relapse prevention, harm reduction, and overall health
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations

<Skills>

  • Strong knowledge of addiction medicine and substance use disorders
  • Proficiency in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) protocols
  • Ability to assess and manage acute withdrawal symptoms
  • Excellent clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
  • Strong interpersonal and nonjudgmental communication style
  • Ability to build rapport with high-risk and vulnerable populations
  • Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
  • Team collaboration in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Time management and ability to handle a fast-paced setting
  • Attention to detail in documentation and regulatory compliance
  • Cultural competency and trauma-informed care approach

Pay: $65,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
