Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Join a Leading Plastic Surgery Practice

Hagopian Plastic Surgery is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) with a background in plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine, dermatology, ENT, or another surgical specialty to join our growing practice in Atlanta.

This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a highly respected plastic surgeon, providing comprehensive care across cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, patient-focused, and experienced in managing surgical patients throughout their entire journey—from consultation and pre-operative preparation to post-operative recovery and long-term follow-up.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient evaluations, consultations, and pre-operative assessments
  • Manage post-operative visits, wound care, and recovery planning
  • Assist in the operating room and provide first-assist support during surgical procedures
  • Participate in hospital rounding and coordinate inpatient care when needed
  • Respond to patient questions and urgent clinical concerns
  • Collaborate closely with the surgeon to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with clinical standards

Participate in hospital rounding and a rotating weekend call schedule

Qualifications

  • Active Georgia NP or PA license
  • DEA registration and prescriptive authority
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in plastic surgery, facial plastics, dermatology, ENT, general surgery, or a related surgical specialty
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail
  • For Nurse Practitioners: AGACNP certification is required. Candidates who do not currently hold AGACNP certification must be willing to obtain it within a designated timeframe as required for hospital credentialing and clinical responsibilities.
  • Previous surgical assisting experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with cosmetic procedures, injectables, and aesthetic patient care is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-touch patient environment

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
