NURSE PRACTITIONER/PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT-CARDIOLOGY

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations, histories, and physical exams
• Develop and manage treatment plans using evidence-based care
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing (EKGs, stress tests, etc.)
• Screen and supervise cardiac testing
• Provide follow-up care and ongoing patient management
• Support hospital rounding and shared call coverage

Qualifications

• Board Certified NP or PA
• Active Rhode Island license (or eligible)
• BLS & ACLS (AHA) required
• Cardiology experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply
