Key Responsibilities:
- Sample Collection
- Collecting blood, urine, and other samples from patients safely and hygienically.
- Properly labeling and sending samples to the lab.
- Ensuring aseptic techniques to avoid contamination.
- Patient Preparation
- Preparing patients for diagnostic tests (e.g., ECG, X-ray, ultrasound).
- Explaining procedures clearly to reduce anxiety.
- Taking patient vitals such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse before tests.
- Assisting Doctors & Technicians
- Helping radiologists, pathologists, or technicians during diagnostic procedures.
- Maintaining cleanliness and readiness of instruments and equipment.
- Emergency Support
- Providing first aid or basic life support if a patient feels unwell during or after tests.
- Monitoring patients who undergo special procedures (e.g., contrast tests).
- Record & Inventory Management
- Updating patient records related to sample collection and procedures.
- Managing medical supplies (needles, cotton, antiseptics, etc.) and reporting stock shortages.
- Infection Control
- Following all hygiene, waste disposal, and infection control protocols as per NABL/NABH standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing qualification (registered nurse preferred)
- Knowledge of sample collection and handling
- Basic understanding of diagnostic tests and equipment
- Good communication and patient-handling skills
- Attention to hygiene and accuracy
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
