Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, nurturing, and professionally trained Pre-Primary & Nursery Teacher to join our early years team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities based on Montessori and early childhood education principles.
• Foster creativity, curiosity, and independence in children through structured play and exploration.
• Maintain a caring, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages holistic development.
• Observe and assess children’s growth, keeping records to share with parents and academic heads.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration to ensure alignment with school’s vision and curriculum.
• Organize and participate in classroom events, parent–teacher meetings, and co-curricular activities.
• Uphold the school’s policies on health, safety, and child safeguarding.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Mandatory: Montessori training from LMI (London Montessori International) or AMI (Association Montessori Internationale).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education / Montessori / relevant discipline preferred.
• Prior teaching experience in a nursery or pre-primary environment will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written).
• Passionate about early years education, with patience, creativity, activity based learning and strong interpersonal skills.
