Location: Abu Dhabi, Al Reem Island
Position: Nursery School Teacher

Start Date: Immediate joiners only

Role Overview

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Nursery School Teacher/s to join a well-established early years education setting. A nursery teacher is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing environment that promotes learning and development in children aged 45 days to 4 years

The successful candidates will play a key role in nurturing young learners, creating a safe and engaging classroom environment, and supporting children’s early development milestones.

Key Responsibilities:1. Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning activities aligned with early years frameworks
2. Create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
3. Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
4. Observe, assess, and document children’s progress
5. Communicate effectively with parents and the nursery management team
6. Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety standards are always maintained
7. Planning and delivering engaging activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework and inquiry-based learning approaches and have outstanding knowledge to ensure effective child led learning
8. Monitoring and assessing children's progress, ensuring individualized learning experiences that support their growth.
9. Collaborating with colleagues and parents to foster a positive and supportive learning community.

10. Ensure parents are involved in their child learning and are contributing to the curriculum
11. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.

12. Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons based on the EYFS framework
13. Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
14.Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
15. Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
16. Communicate regularly with parents about children’s progress17. Manage classroom routines and behavior positively18. Work collaboratively with assistants, colleagues and management19. Ensure safeguarding and child protection policies are followed

20. Complete knowledge of the ADEK Frame work and policies (all ADEK related policies and procedures)

Other important responsibilities:

· Develop a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children (1 to 4 years)

· Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to

· teach children

· Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-

esteem

· Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments

· Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully

· constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.)

· Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all

times

· Track children's progress and report to parents

· Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children's background and

psyche

· Collaborate with other educators

· Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety & hygiene

standards

· To monitor, assess and record children's individual needs within the learning journey.

· To develop action plans where necessary to support children's learning.

· To participate in assessments of and preparing reports on children's work and

development.

· To contribute to the social and extra curriculum activities of the nursery and assist with

the organisation of such as required

· Prepare lessons in advance.

Candidate Requirements:

Job applicants should have:A minimum CACHE Level 3 certification or equivalent in Early Childhood Education,Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting , A strong understanding of the EYFS frame work, a passion for creating innovative learning experiences for young children.

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education / Early Childhood Development (QFE Level 7)
