Job Title: Nursery TeacherJob Summary:
A Nursery Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, caring, and stimulating learning environment for young children (typically ages 2–5 years). The teacher supports children’s emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development through structured lessons, creative play, and hands-on activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Create a warm, welcoming, and safe classroom environment
- Teach basic skills such as numbers, letters, colors, and shapes
- Encourage social interaction and positive behavior
- Monitor and assess children's progress and development
- Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children
- Organize creative activities such as storytelling, music, arts, and outdoor play
- Follow school policies and early childhood education guidelines
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in early childhood education (preferred)
- Knowledge of child development principles
- First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
