Nursing Assistant – Job Description

A Nursing Assistant (also called Nurse Aide or Patient Care Assistant) supports registered nurses and doctors in providing basic patient care and ensuring patient comfort and safety in hospitals or healthcare centers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting
• Help patients with mobility (walking, transferring, wheelchair assistance)
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiration)
• Maintain patient hygiene and comfort
• Change bed linens and keep patient areas clean
• Assist nurses during medical procedures
• Provide emotional support to patients and families
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Follow hospital safety and infection control protocols

• Physical stamina

Educational Qualification:

• Certificate / Diploma in Nursing Assistant or related healthcare course
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred)

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
