Status: Part-time

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; 5:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.

Pay/Salary: $17.00 /Hour

As a Lab Instructor, you won't just be teaching skills—you'll be building confidence, fostering professionalism, and making a lasting impact on students' careers and lives. You'll work closely with classroom instructors to bridge theory and practice, providing students with the real-world experience they need to thrive in healthcare settings.

What You'll Do:


Responsibilities of the Nursing Assistant Lab Instructor include, but are not limited to:


  • Provide engaging and effective lab instruction and supervision to Nursing Assistant students.
  • Evaluate student learning through written, oral, and hands-on performance assessments.
  • Maintain a positive, student-centered lab environment that encourages growth and learning.
  • Keep accurate, up-to-date records of student performance and accountability.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure alignment between classroom and lab experiences.

What We're Looking For:


  • Education Requirements: A high school diploma or the equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 1 year is preferred.
  • Certification: A current Utah Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
  • Organizational Abilities: Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and organization to efficiently handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Attention to Detail: A student-focused mindset with the ability to model professionalism and encourage accountability.
