Nursing Course Trainer

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Part-Time Nursing Trainer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for delivering both theoretical and practical instruction to students enrolled in our Nursing Assistant and Caregiver training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-class and hands-on training sessions for Nursing Assistant and Caregiver students.
• Deliver curriculum-based lessons on essential topics such as patient care, hygiene, mobility, vital signs, safety protocols, and communication skills.
• Demonstrate and supervise clinical skills in simulated or real-world settings.
• Evaluate student performance through assessments, skills checklists, and feedback.
• Ensure all training complies with national and/or state regulations and standards for CNA/caregiver programs.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progression.
• Participate in curriculum development and periodic reviews.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Nurse (RN or LPN/LVN) with a current, active license in [Insert State].
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in long-term care, home health, or geriatric care.
• Prior teaching, precepting, or training experience is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with CNA and Caregiver curriculum standards and best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, supportive, and passionate about teaching the next generation of caregivers.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ﷼50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
