Nursing Director- Family Birthplace

FT 80 hrs/pp, 1.0 FTE; varies as scheduled.

Directs activities of the nursing staff for the unit: Plans and organizes activities in nursing services to ensure patient needs are met in accordance with physician orders and hospital administrative procedures. Coordinates activities with other patient care units. Assists in formulating budget, quality monitoring and policy/procedure development and implementation; meets regulatory requirements.

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Nursing Services degree; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years recent management experience required in an acute care environment and labor & delivery experience preferred.
• Three years nursing experience desired for respective oversight department.
• Knowledgeable regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.

Wage Range: ($53.00- $84.00)
