Position Overview

Redox Education is seeking high-quality educators and mentors to support nursing and pre-nursing students in achieving academic success.

This is a teaching and mentorship-focused role, not a clinical or bedside nursing position. You will work directly with students in 1:1 and small group sessions, helping them master foundational science courses, improve study strategies, and prepare for exams such as the TEAS.

We are building a team of educators who can teach clearly, think critically, and guide students effectively through challenging coursework.

Compensation & Role Clarity

Compensation ranges from $20–$36/hour, based on teaching ability and subject expertise.

This role is designed for educators, not bedside clinicians. Pay reflects tutoring, mentorship, and academic support services—not hospital or clinical nursing wages.

Candidates seeking traditional nursing compensation or clinical roles will not be a fit for this position.

Subjects We Support

Candidates should be able to teach at least one of the following:

• Anatomy & Physiology
• Microbiology
• Basic Chemistry
• Math (foundational through college level)
• TEAS exam preparation

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions
• Provide mentorship and academic coaching
• Break down complex concepts into clear, structured explanations
• Support preparation for:
• Course exams (A&P, Microbiology, Chemistry)
• TEAS entrance exam
• Identify weak areas and build targeted improvement plans
• Track progress and provide actionable feedback

Qualifications

• Background in:
• Nursing, Biology, Pre-Med, or related healthcare field
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred
• Strong knowledge in at least one subject area listed above
• Comfortable teaching virtually (Zoom or similar platforms)

Preferred (Not Required)

• RN or BSN (especially for mentorship-focused roles)
• Experience with TEAS, NCLEX, or similar exams
• Experience working with academically struggling students
