Nursing Floor Manager

Education:

Diploma in General Nursing / BSCN / Post RN BScN / Diploma in Midwifery

Experience:

5 to 6 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily nursing operations within assigned units.
• Ensure the provision of safe, effective, and evidence-based patient care.
• Monitor patient care quality indicators and implement improvement initiatives.
• Manage staffing requirements, duty rosters, and workforce allocation.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff.
• Conduct staff performance evaluations and facilitate professional development.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, health professionals, and other departments to ensure continuity of care.
• Address patient and family concerns promptly and professionally.
• Monitor unit resources, equipment, and supplies to ensure operational efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain departmental reports and documentation as required.
