Nursing Learning Specialist

Overview

Facilitate the development and implementation of academic services in the nursing discipline. Work individually or with groups of nursing students within the Nursing Resource Center (NRC) to promote academic success and retention. Assist in teaching students in nursing simulation labs under supervision of simulation instructors.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• RN licensure
• Recent clinical practice experience
• Demonstrated experience in the teaching or tutoring of nursing topics

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work as a team member
• Experience in the use of technology in the teaching of nursing
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in the use of competency-based, individualized instruction in a university setting

Working Location

This is an onsite position in Salem, MA with on-campus, in-person responsibilities, which may require occasional/frequent/regular work on evenings and weekends.
