Nursing Manager

Job description:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the nursing department to ensure quality patient care
• Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with healthcare standards
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, providing guidance and professional development
• Coordinate patient care activities to ensure optimal outcomes and effective care delivery
• Manage staffing schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and resource allocation
• Monitor and evaluate patient care outcomes, implementing improvements when necessary
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care
• Ensure compliance with hospital regulations, safety standards, and nursing best practices
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback to nursing staff for continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher (MSN preferred).
• Certification in Nursing Management or Administration is often required.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, patient safety, and infection control protocols.

Note: This is an onsite Islamabad based opportunity so candidates from Islamabad/Rawalpindi will be preferred.
