Nursing Manager - FT

About the Role:

The Nursing Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care within healthcare facilities across the United States. This position involves strategic planning, staff development, and operational management to maintain efficient nursing services that comply with regulatory standards. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and patient care standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams and coordinate complex nursing operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Healthcare Administration.
  • Certification in Nursing Management or Leadership (e.g., Nurse Executive Certification).
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare informatics.
  • Proven track record in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
  • Familiarity with budget management and resource planning in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, supervise, and evaluate nursing staff performance to ensure adherence to clinical standards and protocols.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  • Coordinate staffing schedules, manage resource allocation, and oversee budgetary considerations for the nursing department.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and safety guidelines.
