Nursing Scheduler/Central Supply – Full-Time

Location: Myerstown Nursing and Rehab | Myerstown, PA
Shift: Day Shift | Monday–Friday

Rate: $20/hr

Myerstown Nursing and Rehab is seeking an experienced and organized Nursing Scheduler/Central Supply to join our skilled nursing facility in Myerstown, PA. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining staff schedules, monitoring attendance, and providing accurate staffing and payroll-related reporting to facility leadership.

Position Summary

The Nursing Scheduler/Central Supply plays a critical role in supporting nursing operations by ensuring appropriate staffing coverage, tracking attendance, and maintaining accurate scheduling and payroll documentation. This position works closely with the Director of Nursing (DON), Human Resources, and facility leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and post monthly nursing staff schedules
Track and post schedule changes; approve shift trades as delegated by the DON
Maintain accurate records of call-offs, tardiness, and early arrivals
Coordinate daily with Human Resources to ensure attendance policies are applied consistently and timely
Provide accurate staffing, vacancy, agency usage, and productivity reports to the DON, Facility Administrator, and management team
Prepare and submit complete and accurate payroll reports on a timely basis
Verify employment data and conduct background checks on applicants as assigned

Qualifications

Previous nursing scheduler experience required
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Proficiency with computers and scheduling/payroll systems
