Key roles and responsibilities

• Medical support: Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist physicians during procedures and consultations.
• Administrative tasks: Document patient information, maintain medical records, and handle patient admissions and discharges.
• Patient and family education: Inform patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and necessary home care procedures.
• Supervision and collaboration: A registered nurse (RN) may supervise other nursing staff and collaborate with a variety of healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and well-being.
• Postoperative surveillance: Closely monitor patients after surgery to ensure a safe recovery.
